You don't need a DNA test. Use his own methods. Look at any photo of him. He's not white, is he?

I expect that Gordon Brown hasn't spoken about racism because there are more pressing govermental issues that have needed doing since he came to power. Also, what more can he do? Everyone and anyone knows that racism is illegal in Britian and just wrong in general, but there isn't much a person can do to stop the way that other people think/feel.

No one will come close to his legacy, even in a hundred years. I feel so sad to have never told him that i loved him...We should all tell the people we love that we love them even more when they are alone and endangered like MJ was at the end of his short life. This guy was magical, the best live performer ever, and i say it in total objectivity, his lives were perfect...

This kind of people is unfortunately not made to live too long on earth, u know, like these beautiful magical mythical creatures, who belong to the stars.

I totally agree. It wouldn’t surprise me if in the not to distant future we all end up under one government based in Brussels. Thought I did happen to catch an episode of ashes to ashes the other day. It made a pleasant change seeing a program that isn’t afraid of offending people.

could not agree more. ITV is now TV for the Heat Magazine generation.

The BBC gets a whole heap of stick, but while ITV gives us holiday swap, BBC is still producing quality dramas like Spooks, Silent Witness (among many others), quality reality like Apprentice, and although no longer a strong point of any channel, Outnumbered was tip top comedy.

When you have hours of airtime to film, you move into speculation and a certain amount of hand-wringing.

Yes it is sad when someone dies, but the level of coverage should have been a short piece and left at that.

I dont know why the critics hate him, maybe theres some jealousy or befuzzlement in there as his movies DO bring in the money... He is a HUGE star, and viewers love him. If i was him, i wouldnt give a STUFF what the critics said.

Maybe it's a generational thing - but I find its quite possible to keep abreast of all the other matters in the world you mention and still have had time to take a view on the behaviour of these two people you mention.

I should say that I read neither paper you mention but I did complain about the behaviour of these men. The behaviour concerned involved the apparent commission of a criminal offense during their working time by employees of the state owned broadcasting corporation. (S2, Protection from Harassment Act 1997)

Their salaries at the time were being paid for from a compulsory license fee levied upon the people of this country in accordance with an Act of Parliament. If, as you suggest, there are people in these circumstances who find themselves hating the BBC, it is entirely within the sphere of interest of politicians as well as the public as a whole.

I by the way do not hate the BBC but I do think there are serious reforms required. I agree a lot of people think this scandal and the coverage of it has gone on for too long, but the main reason for that was the failure of the BBC to take the kind of decisive management decisions to suspend and/or dismiss the perpetrators which would normally have taken place in most other workplaces.

Of course you can say that, it is a free country, though 'screw you' is a bit of an Americanism, isn't it?

As for the Union Flag (a jack flutters on a ship), I am pleased you like it too. I think its one of the best designed flags in the world. :)
