If ever there was a reason for pleaving Earth and setting up a colony on the Moon or another planet, then this week saw two main reasons. One was the release of Paris Hilton from jail.The world's media went totally loco and treated this as a major news story.
The other was the announcement that the Spice Girls were going on tour.What the F$$$?This story actually challenged Gordon Brown's new Cabinet as a front page story.There they were Posh,Baby,Scary,Sport and Ginger smiling at the cameras, and trying not to look like the greedy band wagon jumpers they all are.
Let's face it, they were never that good.Apart from Wannabe, they produced some really dire songs.Unlike Take That, we started this whole trend(Let's reform and make a killing),the Spice Girls leave no body of work.They were crap, to be blunt!All Saints were much better group with better songs,but them I'M biased.
Yet, our media have been pushing this one for ages, eager to see the girls(whoops,most of them are mothers now)reform. I'll bet that media will rip them to shreds the moment they go on tour.
Which will serve them right.They can't all need the money,can they??
